The Turbo S has a long-standing reputation for embarrassing cars that cost twice as much, and the 992 version does nothing to spoil it: 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.

The engine is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six making 650 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 800 Nm from 2,500 to 4,000 rpm, through an eight-speed PDK to all four wheels, with rear-axle steering as standard. Top speed is limited to 330 km/h.

Against the previous 991.2, the track is 45 mm wider at the front and 10 mm at the rear, the car is 50 kg lighter, and the PASM sport suspension sits 10 mm lower. The active aerodynamics — the sculpted front bumper, the rear fender intakes and the adaptive spoiler — generate 100 kg of downforce at top speed, 15 percent more than before.

This car has a black interior with yellow stitching and matching yellow belts, a GT Sport steering wheel and Turbo S instrument graphics. Options include the glass sunroof, the Burmester system, and PCCB ceramic brakes behind yellow calipers.
