Fifty years of the widest 911
The first Turbo arrived in 1975 with a whale tail and a reputation for punishing mistakes. Half a century of development later it does the opposite: all-wheel drive, rear-axle steering and enough traction that the performance is available on a wet Bangkok morning rather than only on a dry track.
The Turbo has always been the 911 you can use every day, which is why the used market for them is deeper than for the GT cars. Turbo S values sit above the standard Turbo and the gap has been widening.

The S has more power and more standard equipment, and holds a price premium used. The standard Turbo is quick enough that the difference is academic on a public road.
Coupé or Cabriolet?
The coupé is the driver's choice and the more valuable car long term. The Cabriolet suits Thailand better than people expect — the roof operates at low speed and the cabin stays usable with it down.
