Longtail, since 1997
The Longtail name comes from the stretched F1 GTR built to win Le Mans in 1997. McLaren revived it for cars that take an existing model and remove weight, add power and sharpen everything — more track focus without becoming undriveable on a road.
The 765LT was capped at 765 coupés and fewer Spiders worldwide, and Thailand received very few. That scarcity is doing the work in the used market: these are increasingly bought to be kept rather than driven daily.

Coupé or Spider?
The Spider was built in smaller numbers and carries a premium. The coupé is lighter and the purist's choice. Both use the same engine and gearbox.
How many came to Thailand?

Is a 765LT usable on Thai roads?
It has a nose lift and enough suspension travel to cope, but it is a track-focused car and rides like one. Most owners here use them for weekends rather than commuting.
