The CS is the hardest version of the G87 M2 that BMW builds, and the fastest.

Its S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six has been reworked with motorsport cooling, rigid engine mounts and revised management software, and makes 530 horsepower at 6,250 rpm with 650 Nm available from 2,750 to 5,730 rpm. Drive goes to the rear wheels only, through an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox. 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.8 seconds, and with the M Driver's Package fitted as standard the limiter moves to 303 km/h. The chassis sits about 5 mm lower on unique adaptive springs, with revised steering kinematics.

Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic removes 44 kilograms from the car. The roof is structural carbon, which lowers the center of gravity, and it is joined by carbon mirror caps, a revised rear diffuser and an integrated carbon ducktail. The front carries a geometric kidney grille outlined in red above a matte black splitter, and the forged M wheels are staggered — 19-inch front, 20-inch rear — in Gold Bronze.

The interior is built around M Carbon bucket seats in Merino leather, with illuminated CS logos and removable headrest inserts so a helmet fits on track days. Alcantara covers most of the surfaces including the steering wheel, which has a red marker at twelve o'clock, and the carbon console carries the red CS badge.

This car is new and specified in BMW Individual Velvet Blue metallic, with the M Carbon Ceramic brake package. It has arrived at the Target Car Center – Imported Cars showroom.
