Aston Martin Vanquish 25: 50 cars, 835PS, and the end of a shape

Fifty cars worldwide, each one a Q commission, marking 25 years of the Vanquish. 835PS, 1,000Nm, 344km/h — and an allocation that will be settled long before the first car is built.

Aston Martin has built 50 of these and no more: 25 coupés and 25 Volantes, all of them commissioned through Q, the factory's bespoke department. The car marks 25 years since the first Vanquish appeared at Geneva in 2001, and it is the last outing for the shape before the badge moves on.

Under the bonnet is the 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 in its strongest form yet — 835PS and 1,000Nm, 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds, 344km/h flat out. Numbers that put it level with cars costing considerably more, from a marque that has never needed to shout about them.

The detail work is where the money went. Q Skye Silver paint, metal foil inlays worked into the side sills and shield vanes, a bespoke exhaust finisher flanked by stainless strakes, 21-inch forged wheels. Inside, a choice of Onyx Black, Oxford Tan or Phantom Grey, seatbacks embroidered with the Vanquish 25 logo, laser-etched trim, black Alcantara above your head and a red start button below your hand. Two seats or four, as you prefer.

Vittorio Gabba, who runs Q, calls it a send-off for the nameplate. The public sees it first at Monterey in August; the first cars reach owners from the last quarter of 2026.

For Thailand, the maths is the familiar one on a 50-car allocation: the cars are spoken for long before they are built, and the queue forms through relationships rather than deposits. We import to order and we know where these cars go. If you want one, the useful thing is to say so now — we will come back with an honest read on whether an allocation is reachable, what it lands at here with duty and tax, and how long it takes. If it isn't reachable, we will tell you that too.
