The 700 in the name comes from a control unit rather than new hardware. BRABUS PowerXtra B40-700 is a plug-and-play module that works with the engine the G63 already has, which is the line between this car and the BRABUS 800 that gets its own turbochargers.

The base is the Mercedes-AMG G63 and its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 at 585 horsepower and 850 Nm. The module adds 115 horsepower for 700 in total, with torque rising to 950 Nm, through the nine-speed automatic to all four wheels. 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds, against 4.5 for a standard G63.

The body is the BRABUS WIDESTAR widebody. The front bumper and its enlarged intakes are painted to match the white bodywork rather than left in black, and above them sit the BRABUS PowerDome hood and a carbon fiber grille frame. Carbon arch flares widen the car, and a carbon roof attachment carries LED lights.

At the back the spare wheel carrier stays, its cover replaced with carbon fiber and the BRABUS name raised out of it, under a redesigned rear spoiler. The wheels are 24-inch forged BRABUS Monoblock Z in the Platinum Edition finish, on tires sized for the widebody.

This is a Complete Car, built and finished at BRABUS in Bottrop rather than assembled from parts afterwards, and Target Car Center is the only authorized BRABUS dealer in Thailand.
