Jet Green Metallic is a Paint to Sample colour, ordered specially rather than chosen from the standard chart. On the Platinum Edition, with its gloss black SportDesign bodywork and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur detailing, it reads as quiet rather than loud — which is the point of specifying it.

The interior is two-tone Black and Mojave Beige leather, a warmer pairing than the usual all-black, with 18-way adaptive sports seats in front.

Mechanically this is the E-Hybrid: a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 with an electric motor, 462 horsepower and 700 Nm combined, through an eight-speed Tiptronic S to permanent all-wheel drive. 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.0 seconds and top speed is 253 km/h.

The options list is weighted towards how the car rides and what the driver sees. Adaptive air suspension and rear-axle steering are fitted, along with a head-up display, Porsche InnoDrive and the Burmester 3D surround system.
