GTS is the Taycan built on the Turbo's running gear and tuned down rather than up. It sits between the 4S and the Turbo in the range, takes its adaptive air suspension and PASM from the car above it, and carries a setup written for this model alone.

Two motors drive all four wheels, and with Launch Control the overboost figure is 598 horsepower and 850 Nm. 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds and top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

The Performance Battery Plus, 93.4 kWh, is standard on the GTS rather than optional. The car runs an 800-volt architecture and charges at up to 270 kW, which takes it from 5 to 80 percent in 22.5 minutes, and range is up to 504 km on the WLTP cycle.

Outside are the SportDesign front end and side skirts, with the window surrounds and badging in black and GTS lettering on the flanks. Inside, Race-Tex microfiber covers the seat centers and the GT sports steering wheel, set against carbon fiber trim.

This car is specified with the PCCB carbon-ceramic brakes, 18-way adaptive sports seats and the Burmester surround system.
