Azure is Bentley's wellbeing specification, and the case for it is made almost entirely in the front seats. Each one adjusts 22 ways, is ventilated, and holds six massage programs.

The rest of the cabin follows from that. The side bolsters and headrests adjust, the seats are quilted in the diamond pattern Bentley calls relaxation stitching, which catches the light differently as the car moves, and the interior is finished with mood lighting, a panoramic sunroof and an Alcantara headliner matched to the color scheme.

The powertrain is the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor sitting between the engine and the gearbox, 544 horsepower and 750 Nm combined. 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds and top speed is 285 km/h. Electric range is 41 km on the WLTP cycle and combined range is 805 km, with the battery charging in about 2.5 hours.

Three modes govern how the two work together. EV Drive is the default at startup and runs on electricity alone, Hybrid blends both for maximum range, and Hold preserves charge for later, which is the setting that matters for arriving into a city center on the motor. Bentley Dynamic Ride, the 48V active anti-roll system, applies up to 1,300 Nm of counter-torque within 0.3 seconds to keep the body flat through a corner.

The exterior is Black Crystal, a deep black carrying a fine pearlescent flake, with the full chrome package and 22-inch wheels.
