Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster stands as one of the most legendary supercars ever created by Lamborghini, combining raw design with a breathtaking 770 horsepower output. The Aventador itself has long been regarded as the flagship of the brand, powered by the iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine that first appeared in 2012. It marked the final chapter of Lamborghini’s pure V12 lineage before making way for the plug-in hybrid Revuelto, which debuted in 2023.

Despite the arrival of new models, the name Aventador remains etched in the hearts of Lamborghini enthusiasts. The name pays tribute to a famed Spanish fighting bull from 1993, hailing from Saragossa, known for its fearsome and majestic presence—qualities that perfectly embody the character of this supercar.

The acronym “SVJ” stands for Super Veloce Jota, a badge reserved for the highest-performing Lamborghinis. The Aventador SVJ Roadster represents the ultimate evolution of the Aventador line—more aggressive and aerodynamically advanced than ever before, second only to the final, more refined Aventador Ultimae.

Its exterior design exudes power, featuring sharply sculpted bumpers, distinctive angular lines, and advanced aerodynamic components. The SVJ Roadster incorporates Lamborghini’s Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, an active aerodynamic technology that can adjust aerodynamic elements in just 500 milliseconds to optimize downforce and airflow.

Even as a convertible, the SVJ Roadster weighs only 50 kilograms more than its coupe counterpart, thanks to its lightweight, manually removable carbon-fiber roof panels, which can be conveniently stored under the front bonnet.

Under the hood lies a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that revs up to 8,500 rpm, producing 770 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a 7-speed ISR automatic transmission, allowing the car to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 350 km/h.

The model shown here is an Aventador SVJ Roadster finished in a stunning matte gold paint, complemented by extensive carbon-fiber components and red carbon-ceramic brake calipers. Inside, the cabin embraces Lamborghini’s signature “Y-shape” design language, with black and red Alcantara surfaces and carbon-fiber details throughout, creating a perfect fusion of aggression and luxury.

Even today, the Aventador remains highly sought after in the pre-owned market, cherished for its unmatched driving experience, iconic design, and its status as one of the last purebred V12 Lamborghinis ever made.
