Nissan GT-R T-Spec
The Nissan GT-R R35 T-Spec stands out from the crowd with the legendary special color Millennium Jade and the VR38DETT powerplant producing 555 horsepower!!!
For nearly 20 years, the Nissan GT-R R35 has remained a favorite in the automotive world. No matter how much time has passed, the GT-R R35 continues to enjoy enduring popularity. In 2021, Nissan celebrated this success with the introduction of the GT-R R35 T-spec, before officially ending production of the final GT-R R35 at the Tochigi plant in Japan in mid-2024.
Nissan produced approximately 48,000 units of the GT-R R35 over 19 years, each powered by an engine hand-assembled by one of the nine master craftsmen, known as Takumi, at the Yokohama factory.
The GT-R R35 made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007 and immediately earned a reputation as a “Supercar Killer.” Nissan stated that the car was designed to be the ultimate Grand Tourer, combining performance with comfortable driving, meticulous craftsmanship, and high assembly standards. Throughout its 18-year lifespan, the GT-R received numerous updates, including major facelifts in 2010, 2016, and 2023.
Over the years, the GT-R’s Nürburgring lap time improved dramatically—from 7:38 minutes in 2007 to 7:08.679 in 2013. Nissan’s brutal supercar also made its mark in motorsports, securing victories in GT500 and GT300 classes of the Japan Super GT Championship, the Blancpain GT Series Pro-Am, the 12 Hours of Bathurst, and the Super Taikyu Endurance Racing Series.
When it comes to what makes this GT-R R35 T-spec truly special, the highlight is undoubtedly the Millennium Jade green paint—a color last used on the GT-R R34 V-Spec II Nür, one of the rarest GT-Rs ever made. Another available color is Midnight Purple, but the car shown here comes finished in Millennium Jade and was legally imported via Nissan Krungthai.
The GT-R R35 T-spec is based on the GT-R R35 Track Edition, further enhanced with a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, gold Rays aluminum wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, and T-spec badges both inside and out. The interior features Mori Green leather seats, along with suede and Alcantara throughout the cabin.
Power comes from the VR38DETT 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 555 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 632 Nm of torque from 3,300–5,800 rpm, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving all four wheels.
The Nissan GT-R R35 T-spec remains one of the most highly sought-after models in the market. With uncertainty surrounding whether the next generation will be fully electric or hybrid, the R35 continues to represent pure, classic internal combustion engine performance, combined with Nissan’s signature character. This particular example is even more special with its Millennium Jade finish. For those interested, you can contact Target Car Center – Imported Cars showroom directly.
