BMW M4 Competition xDrive Convertible — Standing Out with the Exclusive BMW Individual Tactical Green Finish
BMW Individual is one of the most prestigious vehicle customization programs in the automotive industry, allowing customers to create a truly bespoke car — from unique exterior and interior colors to custom components designed by the BMW Individual division to meet each owner’s specific taste.
The BMW Individual program also offers High Gloss Shadow Line trim, adding a darker, sportier tone to the window surrounds, rear spoiler, exhaust tips, and mirror caps. Inside, customers can choose from a wide array of exclusive interior leather colors such as Ivory White, Fjord Blue/Black, Fiona Red/Black, Merino Tartufo, and Kyalami Orange/Black.
The BMW M4 Competition xDrive Convertible seen here — showcased at Target Car Center (Thailand) — is a true product of the BMW Individual program. It features the rare Tactical Green exterior finish paired with a Merino Tartufo Brown leather interior. On top of that, it’s enhanced with the BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line and BMW Individual Headliner Anthracite — options that are not easily available and make this configuration exceptionally exclusive.
As the convertible version of the M4 Coupe, the M4 Competition xDrive Convertible comes with a distinctive soft-top roof, offering both elegance and functionality. Compared to the previous hard-top model, this new soft-top is 40% lighter, contributing to a lower center of gravity and improved handling.
The soft-top roof can be opened or closed in just 18 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h. BMW also added multiple insulation layers, ensuring superior noise reduction and thermal comfort, making it far more refined than a typical fabric roof.
Powering the M4 Competition xDrive Convertible is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine producing 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel drive system.
This setup enables the car to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.
To further enhance chassis rigidity and performance, the convertible features additional underbody bracing, a special rear subframe rigidly connected to the body, an Active M differential, Adaptive M suspension, and M Compound brakes.
While the standard braking system comes with 6-piston front calipers and 380 mm discs, and single-piston rear calipers with 370 mm discs, this particular car has been upgraded to the optional M Carbon Ceramic Brakes — featuring gold-painted calipers and larger discs (400 mm front, 380 mm rear) — offering exceptional stopping power and heat resistance.
