Rolls Royce Ghost Extended

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended LWB is a car that commands attention wherever it goes. Even though it is considered the entry-level model, it remains the epitome of luxury on Thailand’s roads.

Rolls-Royce has always had a deep connection with the name “Ghost.” Following the first-generation Ghost, known as the “GoodWood Ghost,” which was in production for over a decade and became the brand’s best-selling model in its 117-year history, this new Ghost marks the next evolution of the line. Developed over more than five years using customer feedback, this generation combines supreme luxury with understated elegance and versatility, complemented by an upgraded ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ suspension for an even smoother ride.

Although Ghost is the entry-level Rolls-Royce, it has become popular among younger buyers seeking a status symbol to reflect their career success. The model has helped lower the brand’s average customer age from 53 to 43, transforming Rolls-Royce into a brand that appeals to a broader audience beyond traditional luxury car buyers.

The Ghost retains its signature sharp design, featuring a large grille topped with 20 LED lights, bold body lines, and the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. To enhance its elegance, designers incorporated a “waft line” along the lower body, inspired by yacht design, and equipped the car with laser headlights capable of illuminating over 600 meters ahead.

Inside, the Ghost offers an unparalleled cabin experience, highlighted by the Starlight Headliner, creating an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication that has become synonymous with Rolls-Royce. The car is powered by a bespoke 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing 571 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 850 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm. The engine is positioned behind the front axle, achieving a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, and drives all four wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, enhanced with Rolls-Royce’s satellite-assisted system that uses GPS data to optimize gear selection for upcoming corners.

Entering and exiting the Ghost is effortless, thanks to the electric door system. A single pull of the handle initiates a smooth door opening, and once released, the door’s brake system automatically controls the motion. The car also features innovative comfort technologies, including the Planar Suspension System, which integrates upper wishbone dampers with the Flagbearer system. This uses forward-facing cameras to scan the road and pre-adjust the suspension, ensuring the unique Magic Carpet Ride remains unmatched.

This particular Ghost Extended LWB boasts a two-tone exterior with a gold Coachline stripe running along the center, complemented by a Mandarin-themed interior. It comes fully loaded with options, delivering a level of luxury and refinement that few cars can rival.
